120 members, sponsors, and guests of the St. Petersburg Kiwanis Club took to the links to raise money for the club’s Jim Fischer-Skip Carr Scholarship Fund.

Named in honor of two outstanding leaders in St. Petersburg’s business community who also served as officers of the St. Petersburg Kiwanis Club, the Fund raises money to provide free college tuition to deserving students in need of financial support. Since the founding of the committee, more than 250 students have received free college tuition for a full four years.

In addition to the golfers, dozens of individuals and area businesses participated as event sponsors.

If you look to the far right of the photo above, you will notice that all Kiwanis Club members were encouraged to play, regardless of ability (yes, that’s me).

Bayprint was also delighted to, once again, provide all of the signs for the tournament.
