Did you know that St. Pete Pride is the largest Pride event in Florida? It’s true! This year, more than 175,000 people gathered for Pride festivities over a four-day period from June 23-26. Bayprint is proud to have executed three projects for St. Pete Pride 2016.
You are probably familiar with the iconic “LOVE YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD” mural on 22nd St. S. in the Grand Central District.
For Pride, Squeeze Juice Works commissioned a banner to temporarily cover the NEIGH and change NEIGHBORHOOD to GAYBORHOOD. We were happy to oblige. Squeeze Juice Works then posted the above photo on their Facebook page with the following invitation.
Come join us for a celebration of what connects us, LOVE.
Squeeze Juice Works Central will supply a rainbow of cold press juice for the parade goers.

I guess you could say they squeezed a lot of good will (and traffic) out of that small banner. Excellent job!
We also created this “pillow banner” for the Better Living for Seniors initiative, in conjunction with Area Agency on Aging. A pillow banner is like a pillow case, with a message on both sides. The banner easily slides over a pillow banner frame, making setup and takedown a breeze.
The third project was a 2-sided, durable, outdoor retractable banner stand for The Museum of Fine Arts. I wish I had a photo of that one to show you, but alas…
Pride is one of the many events — and one of the biggest of them all — that makes St. Pete shine. I feel confident that next year’s Pride will be even bigger and better.
