To sell high-end products to buyers who can’t see them requires the ability to stimulate the prospect’s imagination.
In Tampa Bay, we are used to seeing new, luxury condo projects come on the market before the first shovelful of dirt has been moved. Developers open pre-construction sales offices where the graphics and signage enables prospects to “see” just how wonderful living there will be.
For example, Bayprint recently made and installed the graphics and signage for a new luxury condo project on a 19 acre island connected to Tierra Verde. The project is called Sunset Pointe at Collany Key. The 120 residences are priced from $900,000 to $1.2 million.
As you can imagine, the sales office graphics had to be of exceptional visual quality. Here’s how we succeeded.
Original thumbnail drawings were created by the developer’s ad agency. We executed the final graphic files, with changes and revisions by the client as we went along.
In total, the project included:
- One full-wall graphic, 8' x 14'
- One partial wall graphic, 36" x 12'
- 7 Sub-surface printed 1/4" acrylic-mounted graphics, mounted 1" off the walls with stainless steel standoff hardware
- 5 canvas-wrapped graphics
- One 36" x 72" printed fabric lobby display stand
- One polystyrene dimensional letter installation
- One additional 24" x 72" full color sign
- 3 vinyl window graphics
- One 2-sided portable all-weather sidewalk sign
All the graphics were inkjet printed (do not try this at home). The dimensional letters were cut out of material by a computer-guided cutting machine (CNC), then painted white.
Once layout, design, and proofing were completed, production time was only two weeks to manufacture and install all the graphics and signs.
